One of the most critical concepts in watching your star rise? You have to see it to believe it. Fame and recognition belong to the eyes and heart in feng shui. It’s why movie stars and celebrities captivate us; all eyes and cameras are on them.
Even if you’re not on the big screen and paparazzi don’t follow you around, you can surround yourself with your own success, and that influences the energy around you, and that ripples out into the world.
This is especially true if you’re an entrepreneur and work out of a home office.
Many times the person you most need to impress in your life is yourself, making it all the more important that you surround yourself with the symbols that show how much you’ve accomplished in your personal and work life.
Success can be elusive but when you put feng shui to work, you can greatly improve your odds of creating the kind of energy that gets you noticed – and recognition is one of the key building blocks to success and all the benefits that come with it.
Look at these tips below for ways to uplevel your recognition and success chi and see your fortune rise!
Tip No. 1: See successful, be successful.
One of the most successful people I know has an office where he is surrounded by all his plaques, trophies, certificates, awards, and diplomas. Each new success that has a picture or a memento goes on his wall or on a bookcase.
When clients come into his office, they’re aware of how successful he is, and that gives them confidence in the services he provides, much like all the diplomas on a physician’s wall make you feel more secure in being treated by the physician.
These items are all ways of actively displaying how others see you, and this is a foundation of building your recognition chi.
Over time, adding to your treasures will help you create a successful career and life that others can’t help but recognize.

Gold picture frames say what’s inside is important
Tip No. 2: Get it framed.
If you have pictures or cuttings from news clippings – even if they’re your letters to the editor – put it in a frame. Frames are a decorative way of saying “look here, this is important,” and by extension, you are important.
When you frame something you have done, it adds importance to it and calls attention to your name. Be sure to add thank you notes to a frame, pictures with noteworthy people, your first dollar or banknote, and special places where you’ve lived or been.
Tip No. 3: Aim high, go high.
When you’re on your way up, you have to see that visually.
Always add framed diplomas and certificates high on a wall to denote your achievement. Doing so will help you see yourself and what you have accomplished in a way that physically requires you to look up when viewing your accomplishments, symbolizing viewing yourself with esteem.
Tip No. 4: Create a success shelf.
Even if you haven’t won trophies, you may possess items that are special to you and that make you special. For instance, travel mementos that show you are well-traveled gives your success energy a quality of worldliness, which is always impressive.
Collecting and displaying replicas of the Eiffel Tower, the Burg Khalifa, the Chrysler Building, or Big Ben all show that you’ve been places, and that’s often is a good indicator that you’re going places. Add these travel mementos to your success shelf.
Tip No. 5: Add a splash of red.
The color red is an energizing color associated with fire and fire is the element of fame, recognition, and success. Add in some red elements on your wall of fame to help you energize your mementos, prizes, certificates, awards, and plaques.
